Advocacy

The primary goal of Myanmar Doctors for Human Rights Network is the advocacy for the atrocities and the attacks against the healthcare personnel and infrastructure in Myanmar by the junta of Myanmar.

MDHRN is all about giving a voice to the voiceless, sharing their stories with the world and making sure they are not forgotten. The role of the network in the process is there to make sure they are heard.

MDHRN have organized online campaigns regarding attacks on healthcare workers in Myanmar to raise international awareness, collecting vital information and statistics from the people and releasing statements for all to see, taking up interviews from local and international media to provide first-hand accounts on the current issues in Myanmar as medical professionals surviving under constant attacks and attending meetings hosted by local and international human rights organizations and contributing to the discussion and proposal of solutions to end the current crisis.
