What is Basic First Aid?

Everyone has the ability to save a life. There is no such thing as discrimination in basic first aid. It is invaluable for both you as the individual and for your community. Unless a victim/patient receives a proper basic first aid ASAP, their situation can deteriorate-often rapidly. Thus, immediate and comprehensive first aid can give different result.

Purposes of Basic First Aid

1. By being able to provide basic care, you can stabilize a patient from becoming worse until emergency medical services arrive.
2. Prevent death, preserve life, promote recovery and provide safe transportation to nearest emergency medical services.
